Hi guys, thought I would link this here since I wasn't sure which sub-forum was best, it is my initial load testing for the swedish mauser with 200-1100 fps loads. Hope this info is helpful to anyone else embarking on a similar project, I'll only update the linked thread not this one, but wanted to make one post to let people know about it in this subforum too.

This has been very fun (and quiet) so far, hopefully it is of interest to those who have neighbors close by. I intend to see this through until I have a load that groups well and is as quiet as possible.

GONRA remembers in late 1950's making a small newspaper "straw",
sliding down into a NORMA 6.5x50.5mm Jap cartridge case,
(centerng in the caseneck) dropping in 18.5 grains IMR 4895,
CCI large rifle primers,
loading the Lyman 266469 cast bullet with gas check applied and shootin'
in a 31 inch long barrel bolt action Jap rifle an Uncle brought back from WWII.

Noise level was really down there.

Similar might verk in 6.5mm Swede too? ???
