older rifles, light loads

Can anyone suggest a reduced load for me to try in my old 250-3000 take down savage? I have looked through the net but have had very little luck in finding useful information. Is there a site that discusses ultra-lite loads for the above and the 30-30 and 38-55, all pretty old. I just don't want to get to heavy with the old girls. They are in good shape but still pushing 80 plus years.
