Headed for the WACA show in Cody 7/8-10 with a day in Raton to do a bit of shooting on July 7. I'll be taking the C. Sharps 1874 in 45-90 I acquired recently and have a mid-range sight on the rifle now, at least one long-range sight on hand. If I can't get a BACO Money mould by then I'll be flinging Lyman 457125's at that buff way up on the hill behind the long range sillywet range. Won't have room for loading gear so will need to work up a load at 100/200 yds (@ 500' above sea level) to hit the buff @ 1100 (1200?) yards. As it stands now I'll have a spotter. Any hints or advice?

I am pretty sure that is silhouette nationals week at Raton. If so I will be there. I will spot for you if you come at the end of the match. Shooting the buffalo is a must do bucket list if you are a BPCR rifleman. Glad you will make it.

You're right, may be a little difficult getting a room....or range time with that buff. Next week is the big PPC match, I used to help run that after I quit shooting.
