Has anyone slugged a Rossi R92 in .45 Colt?

Thanks,

You can't go by someone else's slug, each rifle is an individual.

all three of mine shoot 452 just fine.
if it's a new taurossi don't be surprised if it has a 454 barrel on it.

Oui. Someone has. Not me. I load and shoot. It is not a precision machine.

I shoot the same loads I use in my Ruger pistols. They work well.

Bon chance.

Thanks guys, I don't have the rifle yet but I do have a RCBS 45-270-SAA mold, just wondering what sizer I'll need. I thought they ought to all be the same since they must be using the same tooling..

when Rossi had them they were darn good rifles.

now that Taurus has them,,,,, you are the final inspector for the company.

I would get the rifle in hand.
look it over very well [wood to metal fit is a big indicator of the rest of the rifles quality]
clean the insides of the action. [completely strip it down]
then slug the barrel [directions in a sticky here]
then I would work on making the boolits and getting a sizing mold coming.
