Has anyone slugged their M&P Shield?? I get 0.357 by 0.352. I was expecting smaller diameter, but many 9mm's now seem to be 0.357 to 0.358. So would a boolit sized 0.359 be OK or would bigger be better?

Very interested to hear others reports.
I have never slugged a gun, managed to get a 45acp cast load that does not lead in at least 3 guns so far, including 2 glocks.
But the wife just got a new shield.
And so I need to start casting for 9mm.
I just ordered (and received the next day, thanks SNS casting) 500 hitek coated 9mm to tide me over while I work out 9mm cast.
When I get the shield slugged I will report back.

I run my 9 mm's at .3575' to .358", I slugged several 9 mm barrels at .357" and larger.

SAAMI groove diameter is .355" I slugged my new LCs-Pro and got .356". My other 9mms run .356" and .358"+ (old Tokerev). I size my bullets to .358" which works good in my FMK, and OK in my Tokerev, but haven't tried any in my Ruger...

If your Shield's barrel runs .357" then I'd suggest a .358" or larger as long as it will chamber (don't even think about a Lee FCD).

Both my M&P 9 full size barrel and Shield 9 barrel slugged at 0.3545" on the groove and slightly bigger than 0.356" in the throat. When I size my cast and powder coated bullets to 0.356", I can leave a good portion of the driving band above the case rim and they will feed and chamber.

I started loading 9mm's for a WWII era Walther P-38. It didn't like .356 store bought cast, I tried Lee 358-105-SWC sized .357 and BINGO ....we had a winner . I have tried .357 sized boolits, of various designs, in a total of four different 9 mm's , a Tarus , Springfield, SIG and the Walther . They have done well in all.

I would try .358 first,it should work if it will fit in the chamber. A larger bullet may not chamber or hit the rifling if not seated very deep in the case. Seating deep will build pressure.
