We will have about a week's worth of rain before the system over Arkansas gets finished. Happily, I can stay inside and do some reloading. Got 1000 rounds of 45 acp cranked out so far. I generally shoot 100 rounds when I go to the range so this is only 10 days worth. I know I need more but my wife is out of .38 special. I guess I'll head back in a minute and start on some rounds for her.

I'm under the same storm system you are. Lots of rain, ditches are full, fields are full, but not much lightning. Being retired Air Force, are you still around the Little Rock/Jacksonville/ Cabot area? I'm in England.

Got close enough to see my rain gauge this morning. It's full. (6"). May wade out and empty it this weekend.

As I sit here this morning I can hear the steady rain coming off the roof of the patio. I have 6 chickens in my fenced in back yard and they never come up under the patio roof. They usually stay under one of the rabbit pens. They have figured out the patio is a bit less soggy. It sure is kind of creepy to see them staring in through the french doors at me. I know in their chicken minds they are cussing me as I sit inside the dry house and they must remain outside. I can feel their fowl eyes upon me right now. I don't want to look over my shoulder.

They are already plotting their revenge,
watch your back chickens can be very vindictive and obscenely violent.... :guntootsmiley:

Twin Lakes area spared, again. Was forecasting up to 8".......I doubt we got three. Laid up anyways, with recent knee replacement. TGF NCAA basketball.
