I have an aftermarket barrel on a .40 from a now defunct company called FAC. Federal Arms Corporation in the Minneapolis area. It works great. I'm thinking of another Glock after market barrel to shoot 9mm out of the .40.

What is the opinion on Storm Lake, or LoneWolf?? Then there are the Bar-Sto and KKM barrels for significantly more money. Let me know will you?? Thanks!!

The low end are hit and miss, might be fine, others not. I bought a lone wolf for a G23, from 40 to 357 sig. A jam-o-matic until I did some work on the feed ramp. More money they tend to put more effort into such things.

I don't do Glocks, but Storm Lake has a very good reputation in the 1911 world.

I have a KKM in my M&P 9L "Open Class" gun, I only have a few hundred rounds through it so far but I'm liking it, much nicer than the original barrel in terms of build quality and the gun shoots better. I had it TiN coated also.

I just repaired a G22 Limited gun for a friend which had a Storm Lake in it, an older production barrel but it isn't as nicely made as the KKM. I can't speak to it's accuracy as I didn't fire it for accuracy while I had it in. It did have a much tighter chamber than the OE Glock barrel, quite obvious with the plunk test.

I have a Lone Wolf in a Glock 19 and it works great. What does your defunct .40 fit and are you looking to get rid of it?

I had a Lone Wolf conversion to shoot 9mm out of my Glock 22 and it worked great. Decided to sell it off and get a dedicated Glock 17 after a while though. Now I am running Lone Wolf barrels in both my Glock 22 and 17 and they both work fine.
