Well Almost. l took my 'old faithful' 2002 GMC Envoy for an oil change today...We have been together almost 14 good years..

Anyway after checking everything and paying the bill my mechanic says, ''l put a present for you in the back''.. Getting home

l unload my present of used wheel weights saved for me. Most of the time l just dump in a bucket with the others and sort.

This time l decided to process them and find out EXACTLY how many boolits this haul would yield. Sneaking out Mama's bath

scales this box weighed ''Thirty-Eight'' pounds... Next l tossed out all the unfriendly 'critters' leaving me with 26 pounds of

COWWs and SOWWs.. Wednesday l fired up the old Lyman pot and started casting 44 Keiths from my trusty H&G #503 mold..

All said and done.. Boolit cooled...H&G greased and put away l 24 pounds of 0le Elmers' favorite 44 boolit. A little math said

l should have app 650 of those 250 grainers ready to size/load/shoot in a couple weeks.. NICE ''Thirty-Eight Special''

Hard to beat COWW's for pistol boolits, especially free ones. Congrats!

I believe I'd patronize that business all I could AND leave them a box of doughnuts every once in awhile!

That is a symbiotic relationship. Or in simpler terms, A Win Win.

Last Saturday I picked up a couple hundred pounds of wheel weights at a local tire shop. On Monday I went back and bought a full set of tires for my car at the same shop. Since they have been saving WWs for me for a couple of years now, I figured it was time to pay them back!

Well done. Bring in a pepperoni pizza or two for the guys in the shop.

I have found that a case of beer on a Friday around closing time can get you set up with more wheel weights than your vehicle can carry. Unless you drive a Semi. A pizza could only improve on that situation!
