.35 Remington brass flash back to the year 2001

Yesterday when cleaning out some old magazines I found an ebay bid page I had printed from ebay in July 2001.

I won a bid for 100 pieces of new Winchester brass in 35 Rem caliber. The seller paid the shipping so my total price was $27.00.
This was before Paypal.

The good ol days of ebay. I still have a lot of brass and bullets that I procured from that era. Sending a MO was the only downside, but I usually only bid .50 on the dollar back then unless it was something I was using right away. Those deals from back then look darn good today. I started getting want lists from friends after they seen the deals I got, and I fixed them up usually. When I go to the range with them I still hear "you got me these off ebay".

I bought a lot of it off gunbroker around 2008-09, I grabbed every bit of it that I could buy, and never paid more than 30 per 100! One day at a gun show and old timer had several bags of new win 35 brass for $25 a bag, I snatched them up fast. Sad thing is I've not fired my 35 in years, but this spring I'll dust it off and make it smoke!
