Looking for some pet loads for 255 swc keiths.
I have been using some loads from taffin but she still isn't grouping as tights as I would like.
Any suggestions on redhawks.
Also I am looking for ruger only loads.
Thanks

My only 255 gr Keith bulleted loads are mild. 8.5 gr Unique, 1.63 COAL but, very accurate.

My heavy loads are 25.0 gr H4227 and a 300 gr, 1.745 COAL jacketed bullet. The other one is 23.0 gr 296 using a 335 gr bullet loaded to 1.72 COAL

All will shoot <1.25 @ 25 yds.

My light Keith 250gr.loads are with Unique or Bullseye but I push the bullets a little deeper than others,I'll suggest that you follow published data for the loads
Most of my 45colt is shot using Black Powder loads, just fill the case and compress your powder by a 1/16thof a inch. Very nice load, little more clean up but I don't mind a few extra patches.:redneck:

Don't shoot the 255 kieth boolit. But my RH 4.2" seems to love the Lee 300gr GC over 15.8 gr of 2400. Nice thumper round with little recoil.

20 grains of 2400 is good for a full power ruger only load. 6.5 grains of red dot is good for a standard pressure 45LC load.
