The bottom photo is William Barclay Masterson:
"Masterson spent his later years in New York City. In 1905, President Theodore Roosevelt appointed him deputy U.S. marshal for the southern district of New York, a position that Masterson held until 1907."

Lavenetti - good job. I'd have never guessed unless the pic I got had a title. The upper one is an entertainment (circus ) act by a gal that jumps her horse into a pool.

Didn't you guys watch the 'B' westerns, they'd jump horses off cliffs into the river trying to outrun John Wayne or Harry Carey and even they used to do it a time or two too.

This trick and tripping horses head over heels just makes my wife 'livid'…it's a good thing those 'hollywood types' never ran into her!
