What's up with people posting as "Guest"?

Guest? I thought anyone who posts must be a member. I've seen it a couple of times now....What's going on with that? Just wondering.

Maybe they used the name Guest for there ID.

Well....usually it means that that poster was once a member but is now not ( eg; they left ) you'll also see post from banned members ( they're gone too but under differing circumstances )

This is exactly the case.

So is there some sort of glitch in the software to allow this, because non members cant post.
There is someone with guest and guest1234 as a ID.

Post #9 on this thread is one of the ones that I noticed. Seemed rather unusual.
