What size is your normal sizing diameter for 475/480 pistols? I need to have some good data for making gas checks.

One of my .480s takes a .476" boolit and my other .480 takes a .477"

I have been working with the 480 for about three years tp produce a gas check out of aluminum that works. Been testing with the Lee 476-325 RF bullet mold. It throws a 476 +- diameter bullet. The shanks are industry standard at .445. Sizing with a custom made Lee .476 push thru die. Have found the bullet has only worked with certified .016 H-14 aluminum. Thinner and thicker no go! Now I will change my alloy and see if I can come up with a fatter bullet. Rifle shooters and Lefty SRH are working with .477 bullets Gator checks should work on any size. Slip on the .445 shank nicely and have a .480 diameter. Now to cast some fat bullets or buy another mold. James Thanks guys for the feedback!
