I've been looking at one of these does anyone have any thoughts on them?

Have you handled it?
I handled one at my "local" gun shop. It was very light, had a decent trigger, but the grip didn't work for me. It was angled too much to fit my hand properly. It reminded me of the old, High Standard pistols.
I like the grip of my S&W 22A-1 and my Ruger MarkII much better.

I did handle one, but i thought the opposite on weight. Felt it was on the heavy side. I will agree the grip did feel a little different not bad but different. Can't say about the trigger didn't try it.

I'm been itching to handle one too. I shoot a S&W 22A and Buckmark and like both.

I had never heard of them until now. Not a bad looking handgun.

I have yet to handle a Buckmark even though there are plenty of them out there. I was comparing the weight of the 22 Victory to my Ruger MarkII competition. The 22 Victory I handled felt significantly lighter.
According to the web sight published details the 22 Victory weighs 9 ounces less than the Ruger competition. My 22A-1 has the longer barrel which is why it feels heavier as well.

Don't get me wrong as I am a huge fan of S&W but to me this gun looks like an attempt to create a Buckmark/Ruger 22-45 hybrid. Would be very interested to give one a try but think I'll stick to my Ruger Mark II. Leave my Smith business to wheel guns for now.

All that being said this Volquartson Custom is pretty slick:

I popped off a few, off a bench,at 50'. Felt pretty nice, big ole glowing sights, and decent group. Had a solid feel and light.
