So I purchased this handy dandy Lyman 4500 luer/sizer. I stuffed it full of Javelina 50/50 lub and Started hammering out bullets. My problem is that more lube runs out the bottom and top than actually goes on the bullet. WHY?
You might try a little less pressure on the screw and give the lube more time to flow.

Try less pressure? Don't add pressure until (after a few boolits) the grooves won't fill with a couple of passes. I always use 2 or more passes to fill the grooves. It gets the lube in the grooves more solid and clear. Then is when you know to put on a LITTLE more pressure - only one or two clicks of the ratchet every second or third boolit. Or, adjust the depth control until the top lube groove just gets filled. If you push the boolit too deep lube will come out the top of the die. If these ideas won't work, you may have a blown O-ring or two.

a lot of guys mount their sizers on a piece of rubber or piece of inner-tube to help with
the bottom mess

Is it possible you don't have the nut tight on top of the die body?

The problem was in my sizer. i put a new o-ring on it and that stopped the leakage on the top but it kept spilling out the bottom. I ordered a brand new Sizer and just finished up 250 bullets with nary a drip.
