I finally had some mono and lino fall in my lap for $.25/lb!!! I sorted some and came up with a bucket of the stuff in the picture... from what I have heard the three-holed stuff is mono is this true? It is a lot harder than the lino as far as I can test caveman-style.

This should last you a long time.
I acquired 200lbs about 35 years ago and still have around 170lbs left.

Wow, that would take 1000lbs of pure and 20lbs of tin to make an almost perfect 94-3-3 mix

I had some of those and when melted into a big batch was running around 50% richer than Linotype. I would have to go out and look but something like 7-8% Sn and 17% Sb. I also do not have the recipe handy but with some plain or COWW lead and added solder/pewter one can crank out a whole lot of Lyman #2 with 50# of that stuff. And Lyman #2 cut 50/50 with plain is still darn good pistol ammo.

Nice find. Glad to see it won't become battery terminals or go to waste.
