Recommend me a mold and weight and why it is good. I have seen the 230 grain lee molds, the accuratemolds and NOE molds and there are so many to choose from ranging in bullet weight to bullet shape.

I shot out of a 10.2 inch 1 in 7 twist noveske barrel on an AR15 platform.

I have only shot it with gemtech 187 gr subs so far with no issues.

I have Both the the Lee 235 and the NOE plain base 247 grainer. Both work well but Lee dropped the ball only offering it in a 2 cavity mold. They are a fun plinking round so 5 cavities is nice. I powder coat them now but did have luck tumble living them when I first got the Lee. I usually use COWW or maybe COWW with a bit of tin and plain lead.

I plan on powder coating. 2 cavities is fine for me as i dont get to shoot often.

IMO the Lee mold has gotten a bad rap because of the boattail design and the tumble lube grooves. I have the Lee and also a hollow point version of the NOE, and I have had MUCH better results with the Lee than with the NOE. I have yet to find a load that shoots well with the NOE, which is a shame because I really wanted a heavy subsonic to deer hunt with suppressed. I don't know that I trust a pointy solid like the Lee to do anything other than punch a hole through a big critter.

Decided to try the noe 311-230-FN gas check 230 gr. Already ordered it.

I also signed up for the group buy of MiHec 300 AAC 213 gr gas check hp.

I really like either the NOE 247gr or the Accurate 245gr (similar design), they feed very well, even with that flat point and using RL7 with subs they work great with my new can, and very quiet.
