Do you like to shoot your guns? Do you want to be able to continue to do so? Do you want to have your children have this opportunity?
If so, have you contacted your elected officials in the United States Senate?
And it really doesn't matter if they are libs or socialists, YOU need to voice your opinion... NOW AND Often! Congress.org and find them! Replacing Justice Scalia with anyone but a strict constitutionalist is the end of our rights as gun owners! The GOP is already softening Their stance. Force them to hold! Your rights are at risk!

My two senators are hard core leftists. They won't listen. I have no voice in Washington.

I also wrote my congressman, some time back, and asked for him to support President Bush as he wanted to define marriage as a union between a man and woman. He wrote back disagreeing but the next election he didn't have a job. I guess others realized they weren't being represented either.

skeeter - both the Senators from my state are liberal leftists as well . . . but don't let that stop you from voicing your opinion to them even though you feel it doesn't count. Just remember that "there is no noise so loud than that of a man who is afraid to speak up and voice his opinion". Half Dog has it right I'm sure in that even though they disagree with you, if they hear enough constituents voice an opinion opposing theirs, they will be thinking "job security". When I contact mine, I always remind them that they are there to represent their constituents regardless of their party affiliation and that they work for us, the tax payers and voters . . . and that they are "temporary help" that can easily be replaced if they choose not to represent the constituents that put them in office. When you contact them, remind them of that in a nice way.

Yea, I'll write my two senators, as I have in the past. I can pretty well figure out the response.

My letter to them.....

Dear Senator Boxer.....
Dear Senator Feinstein.....

Their response.....Dear Mr Scarry.....PC way of saying "Pound Sand."

Just like Skeeter, I have no voice in Washington.

remind them you'll vote for someone that will either listen or vote for someone that is going to support term limits,,, either way you'll vote.

I did but like :takinWiz: in the wind. My two senators, Jeanne Shaheen, a leftist, and Kelly Ayotte, a big disappointment. Her two best buds are John McCain and Lindsey Graham . I just do it to annoy them now.

Feinstein and Boxer. I think Boxer does whatever FeinSwine the libturd tells her to do and if I were to say exactly what I think of FeinSwine, at best I'd be banned from CB.

I have talked to at least one my senators lately. I know that I am heard as he has the same outlook at I do. He owned the company I have worked for the last 25 years. I enjoy his visits and enjoy the area he lives in. My inlaws live right down the street. Now can we all get our senators to talk for what we believe in? I hope the small guys get in where we need them.
