380 Bodyguard by S&W

My 380 blew up yesterday,I don't think it was a overcharge but a casing failure.The slide,barrel and all uppers are in good shape.The barrel has a spot where the casing is unsupported at feed ramp and this appears to me to be the spot where the casing failed.In a spot about 1/16" up from the rim a piece of the brass about 1/8" round flew out and scraced my face enough for it to bleed pretty good but I am also on warfarin that made it bleed more.The lower housing busted,cracked open from just behind the trigger to the release button for the magazine.The magazine is also damaged and has a small split at the top and back at loading ramp where the magazine was welded.I will call S&W tomorrow and see what they have to say about the whole thing and how much it cost for repairs.

They will blame the ammo manufacturer. Is th that you ?

'Not an overcharge' so reloads. Its going to need a frame, might end up cheaper to go buy another pistol.
