Anyone else have problems with the MP 359-125 mold and powder coated boolits? Will chamber and cycle lubesized, roughly 20% lock up tight powder coated. Any guidance would be appreciated.

You may?? need to seat slightly deeper. Does your loads (PC's) pass the "Plunk" test==Sound the same as a factory load when dropped into your field stripped barrel??

For me, in most 125gr. RN cast 9MM loads, I have one OAL for my Glock barrels, and a slightly shorter OAL for my Lone Wolf (Glock) barrels, and my CZ-75 barrels.

If you go shorter on your OAL, be sure to back down your powder charge, due to pressure increase with a shorter OAL.

Most of my 125gr. RN cast loads are 1.080"-1.085". Not sure on your mold, but I am sure that a shorter OAL will probably cure your problems...Bill.

Are you sizing them after powder coat?

According to your post you sized the lubed bullets, you do not mention sizing the powder coated bullets.

You're right on there..Heck, I "Stripped Down" my extra Lyman 450 to push through my bullets during size.

cigarman454 has a chute that he makes that you can attach a tube to and catch the bullets as they come out of the Lyman.=Works GREAT..Bill.

Both get sized through the same star sizing die. I measured the PC oral and it is already 0.020" shorter. Will check them in the barrel later.

I had the same problem with one of my 45's with tc boolits. The pc will widen the "ogive" if you can call it that enough to jam into the lead. I had to shorten the pc loads until they cycle.

Plunk test. Take barrel out of gun, check OAL in pistol before loading.

The 0.020" was right on the edge. Out of ten 7-8 would plunk and the others hang. Shortened another 5 and check pressure on quick load. Thanks.
