My accurate load for the soup can in the 7-30 wates is:
Boolit: 135gr Lee Soup Can cast boolit
Powder: 9.8 gr of Unique
Primer: CCI-300 or WLP
OAL: to fit chamber barly touching the grooves
Velocity: About 1500+fps in my 21" contender barrel.
I do get about 1" or less at 50 yards

I don't have a soup can , but I have the std. 130 lee , I run WCWW/ 2% tin sized .285" over 18.5 gr
SR 4759 or 10.5 gr. Unique. Mine shot well with H322 but don't remember the load. Mine is a 14".
Good Luck.

Ok,,, I have to ask.
What is a soupcan bullet? Why is it called that?
I've never heard that term. Now,, I don't cast for my rifle calibers,, so it may be that I'm just in the dark here.
I do enjoy my 7x30 waters though.

The data in the pic is good stuff . Don't overlook the RL7 data , the guns I've tried it in have shown good results.
