Springs for S&W Model 2

I have a friends old S&W revolver. The mainspring is broken. I tried to find a replacement. One place I tried will not respond after three E-mails.
Anyone got a source for these. I don't think Numrich has them.

I did a google search and found a picture of one. It appears to be much the same as the mainspring for the K or N frame. The difference might be small enough that you could shorten it if needed or it might work as is.

I concur. You will likely need to make one but it shouldn't be too difficult.
