These brass bushings were in a loarge lot of stuff I just bought. The have markings starting with the letter P; ie: P18 and so forth. Does anyone know what they go to?

I believe I could make those pretty easily. You buy Brass round stock put it in a lathe drill a hole in the end and part it off.

Pretty sure that's the way that whom ever made them did it.

Those are factory bushings for the Hornady Pistol Powder measure. The factory ones have the undercut on the OD like these do. Looks like they are marked with a number. I made a bunch on them back in the day. Use 1/2" OD brass, drill with a drill the size you want and part off 1/2" O/L. Be sure to check the outside diameter, if it is oversize it won't go in the bar on the measure. Just polish with sand paper before parting off. I still have several blanks, made from "FMYB" free machining yellow brass.

Those will probably fit the powder dropper for Star presses.

Been there, done that. Just a case of the lazys setting in and I thought I might save myself some time and work by getting the factory bushings and opening to what I needed. !/2" brass rod on ebay is about $8.00 for a 12" piece and I figure I can get 16-18 bushings out of that but as I said, laziness.........

Grind up a small boring bar and you could really tweak the charge weight.

Looked in my Hornady/Pacific book and at my bushings. I think the "P" stands for Pacific and the number relates to the chart. For instance the bushing P 6 dropped 3.9 grains of Bullseye.

The lower photo.

I'm making them for my Pistol Powder Measure - with my wood lathe and hand tools. Not hard at all.
