Im wondering on what is the best way to lapp my dies im currently making. im thinking of using aluminum turned down to the correct size and using aluminum oxide compound.. now is ti best to use it in a tail stock or mounted on the tool holder? I want to keep it moving in and out so it doesnt just take metal off in one spot and keep it uniform. hope you can help thanks
