Winchester manufacture dates

Moderator.......Please move if this is not the proper place to post this.....didn't know where else it would fit.
A friend of mine has a Winchester mod 92 in a .32-20 with a serial # 2917XX and a Winchester mod 42 in a .410 with a serial # 128XX. Would anyone here be able to tell me the approx. date of manufacture?

The Model 92 shows a DOB of 1905

I'll let you look up your Model 42 so you get used to the site - go to the left and select the model and click on it

You can also look up Colts, etc.

I have a Winchester 44 WCF( 44-40) 1892 ser # 10,1**, when I did some research I have found others say it was made in 1893' and was not a first year gun. To me it doesn't matter I still shoot the gun as it is a shooter not a museum piece. Everything is 100% original and was never refinished.
