.22's are tough to find. Pistol powder is as well. When I find both, I buy.

Plentifull 22 shells, near old ( pre hoard ) pricing. Still haven't seen a single lb of ANY Alliant powder on the shelves for 2 years or more! With the exception of 2 cases of cardboard pop top gold colored reloader 12x apparently purchased from an estate sale?

Very few .22's here, the one's you do find are way out of line on the price. Can't find any 2400 or blue dot, yet. The shelves look much better than they did, though.

2400 has been non existent here too, so has red-dot for quite some time, but I hear of it being available in other areas of the country.
22's have been super hit and miss, I either see them in quantity [3-500 count] or I see nothing at all.

Basspro here had mucho powder on the shelves Friday. I even counted 6 one ponders of 2400. Bunch of Red Dot, Green Dot, Reloader7, Reloader 10 and other Alliant. Hogdon and IMR well represented also. Prices are about the same as any other place I have seen. I have plenty for now but may go back and get a pound or two of the 2400.

I was at Cabela's in Charlston WV on Tuesday. Their powder stock was pretty good and they had a wide range of choices. Not like it used to be, no, but pretty good. Lots of favorites too.

I managed to nab some Unique & Titegroup, GreenDot along with H110 from Bass Pro. Prices were a bit steep but with ship to store avoiding the hazmat and shipping it worked out to about 7# of powder for just under $200. I get to do a 45 mile each way drive.... but to a Bass Pro shop for a bit of shopping so it is not all bad. There are a few powders that are in-store sales only. 2400 was one of those so it might or might not be available I would probably snag a pound if it was.

What is up with .22 LR is it all getting snagged by scalpers? Or what?

Three weeks ago, I bought two 8 lb. kegs of Bullseye from Precision Reloading for $140.00 per plus all the plus stuff. They had lots of Unique and 2400 as well, but it is all gone now. Just rubbing it in.

Jay's in Clare Michigan is stocked heavy with powder, 8 pounders too. Very little .22 rimfire, sounds like they are putting a little out each day. Ammo prices decent.

Scheels in Cedar Falls, Iowa have alot of powder ,but not as much of Allient they they have 2 months ago but they had just about every thing else.I have got some 2400,and others when they had show up last year toward the end of the year and got it while it was there. Now I am pretty set on the main powders I use.

Yes, it does appear to be getting "better," but it's still a far cry from what it should be. I miss the old days before hazmat fees, etc. when if your local supplier didn't have what you wanted, he could get it in 2-3 days, and you'd be up and running again. I have serious doubts we'll ever get back to that, at least in the forseeable future. The upcoming election will likely have a BIG effect on that, I believe.

Greensboro NC gun show had several dealers with full tables of powder. Most all brands and at good prices. Now my bank account is in pain.

Lots of powder in 1lb but nothing bigger around me. 22s are in all the stores except WalMarts. Primers are overflowing.

The Cabala's in Lubbock Tx, has had the largest selection of powder and primers that I have seen since it opened last year. Varget seems to be the hottest seller. It all disappeared while I was walking around thinking about
which powder to purchase.

I've been blessed to have a small LGS nearby that stayed pretty well stocked, even through the worst of it. Unique, 2400 and W231 are the only scarce powders in this end of the world now....everything else in any quantity you might want. I've even been seeing quite a bit of 748...one of my fav's for small cal. rifle. Varget is everywhere, most of the RLs are everywhere, etc....

No time to be complacent boys...if you need it, better get it.

in my parts..Walmart is 45 min away...they usually don't have squat...LGS are scarce..Provo is 2 hrs away...more stores...usually limited selections as mentioned...when I need powder/primers...get 2-3 buddies & split the haz mat/shipping....good to go..

Went to a gun show here in Phoenix yesterday and there was alot of powder from most companies and prices below $30 a pound. Primers were plentiful also. I bought some WSP for $25 per 1K and Wolf LR for $20 per 1K.
22LR was available but still priced more than I want to pay. The 17HMR is coming down to decent prices again.

Same story around here, Alliant pretty hard to find and expensive when it is found. 22LR is extinct, scalpers and hoarders still hammering on keeping it hard to find. I haven't squeezed the trigger on a 22LR in probably 4 to 5 years.

Joe I dunno if it would help.
but I seen some 22's over in grand junction about 4 weeks ago. [sportsmans/cabelas]
and it's been kicking around here recently so don't lose hope.

Was at the Hamburg Cabelas tonight and they had more powder than I've ever seen them have. There were about ten eight pounders of varying powders, one was BE-86. Usually they may have two or three. Of course the price sucked at $219. They had a lot of CFE pistol. None of the big name pistol powders but you could buy one that would work to load anything.

22 rim still hit and miss or pay too high like $40.00 for 500. Powders are around but pricey not too high just not a deal.
