Came across some reloading supplies and found a sandwich size bag of fine powder.
It's heavy about 10 lbs. Have know idea what it is.

Take it 100 yards from anything that will burn and burn it.
It's not worth blowing up a good gun or hurting yourself.

Test it with a magnet. See if it's iron.

Melt a little lead and see if this powder melts or dissolves into it at reasonable temperatures. That would probably make it lead, tin or zinc.

If it doesn't melt, see if it floats, or sinks. If it sinks it's likely tungsten, or tungsten carbide.

-Since its magnetic it is some form of steel/iron. Powdered steel is used in fireworks compositions to make yellow flames or sparks.

It looks a little like some heavy sand that I used for filling my rear bag with.

It could be powdered metal for stock bedding, or it could be for Thermite welding(railroad). I have some powdered steel and aluminum that came from Brownells long time ago. How fine is it?

It looks like the stuff I put in my truck tires to balance them.

With the uncertainty about exactly what this stuff is. I`d recommend it be planted (without the bag) in the bottom of a deep hole a long way from home!Robert

Being it's magnetic it's steel or iron. Spread it around your rose bushes.

You can tell me it works, and I'll call BS and show you the shopvac hopper FULL of them "VOODOO" beads!, I've cleaned them out of at least 100 tires!

Never heard of such an animal; cannot think why it would work. Hell the way advertising is these days I generally only use stuff others have tried.

Funny story, so I went on a rant one time with the NRA about the ads they have the monthly magazine, scams around every corner! Well, it just so happens I was in the market for a knife sharpener, happened to see an ad for the 'Work-Sharp' system (http://www.worksharptools.com/sharpeners-14.html). Let me tell you brother, that is the best dang sharpener I've come across. I can hone a blade, don't get me wrong, but this that little beast will do 95% of the work like 'Right Now!'. Completely off topic now, but what the heck.
