I just received my 1st bpcr, a 45-90. I had a gift card for Cabelas so I bought some Ultramax ammo. Cases seem 1/2 full or less, and when shot smell just like spent shotgun powder. When I get my reloading setup and work with an older local fellow I plan to reload with black. Does a case full of black recoil differently than these Ultramax loads? Seemed very mild so was just wondering?:lol:
