FN Five Seven

A buddy showed up at my place today with one of the new FN Five Seven's. It's single action only with a 20 round magazine (3 come with it) and mostly synthetic. It supposedly launches a round at 2050 fps with an effective range of 50 meters. I believe it was originally designed to defeat body armor.

My stepfather bought one a little over a year ago. That velocity ain't no joke. It seemed like I was getting a little over 2100 FPS with it. Cases go a looooong way! Ought to be hell on prarie dogs and ground squirrels.
