Was once again at my reloading table enjoying a cup of coffee and a smoke. When I said to myself...Hey the color of purple is a blend of red and blue.
So I mixed equal parts of red and blue powder in my container of BB's and put in a handful of bullets. After shaking them around for a little while, I baked them in the oven for 20 minutes at 400 deg.
Red powder is HF and the blue powder is RAL powder.159006
Wife is beginning to think that I spend to much time at the reloading table. LOL

With red, yellow and blue, you can mix any color on the standard paint color wheel.

I mix them all, including several shades of purple. I put HF matte black in my ESPC mix to get "Dark Matte Concord Grape".

HF red and Smokes bacon grease color mixed half and half make a really nice clumpy oatmeal color.

Since I was having trouble getting HF Red to give me one coat coverage I mixed it together with Prismatic "Hot Yellow" and now have a bright Orange that is doing well.

Creative bunch here. I'm gonna have to get in touch with creative side and experiment with some colors. So far all I have used is HF red.

Mixing HF red & Smokes JD green gave me a mottled green/red Xmas bullet. Probably the two diff powder types not wanting to comingle.

Powders will NOT mix like paint as I and others have pointed out many times B4. Especically different brands and different chemical make-ups. They "pixellate".

I think the effect is neat! I get all kinds of strange color combos doing the mixing. If I wanted a John Deer Green, I would buy it. But my custom mix of yellow and blue yields my "Zombie Blue Blood" color that is green with random blotches of blue! That is just one of the many custom mixes I do using red, yellow, blue, white, and matte balck powders.

BTW.........what you see in the bowl and on the swirlled boolits will NOT be the color you have after baking them!!!!!!

But again, if you want a true solid color, buy that color and don't waste time trying to mix it.

After all......they all just go splat on the other end, right?
