Anyone have experience with this handgun maker?...

I see one in a local advertisement in the 45 Colt cartridge...

I think it has fixed rear sights, but I can't tell from the picture...

Any thoughts?...

Thanks...BCB

I have their .22lr/.22mag and I am very happy with it. It is the only revolver that I have seen with a safety. I have no experience with their .45 but the .22 is very well made.

I owned the convertible 22, sold it and upgraded to a Ruger stainless convertible 22. They are low end/low price point revolvers. If they fit your liking, buy one. I recommend saving a little more for a nicer revolver, but that's my opinion.

The rimfires are very good for how little they cost. I think the centerfires are Italian imports.

I have their 22 convertible too, haven't had any problems with it, definitely not a Ruger or Smith & Wesson but pretty decent quality for the price, trigger could be better.

I had the .22 convertible. It shot well, but the hammer and trigger were kind of rough. I got talked out of it, but wouldn't hesitate to buy another to use as a truck gun.

I had their 22 covertable as well, the cylinder paw broke after 100 rounds or so. I shipped it to them and had the gunback all within 3 weeks. No problems after that. I think my revolver cost $89 when I bought it 23 years ago, how can you not be satisfied at that price point. I've since sold it but I still have a 22 mag cylinder for it free to anyone here who wants to pay shipping for it.

I too have their .22lr/.22mag that I use for a snake charmer when in the mountains. It's a fine pistol for what it is and for what you pay for it, but I have no experience with any of their other offerings.

I have the. 22/.22 mag also and like it. It is not a a high end piece, but it does shoot fairly accurately at 10 yards. I reworked the trigger some and it is better than when I first got it.
Paid a C note for it with a holster, and lots of ammo. I'd get another if I found a good price.

Thanks for the replies...

I was just thinking about getting it, maybe, and using it as a "beater". As one said, for a truck handgun...

But, I have the Blackhawk and I don't know that I really need two 45's. But, as a utility piece, might be o.k.

I watched a factory tour video that was shot after the take over by Taurus. I thought is was neat that the warranty dept. was building steel frame big bores cause they had no warranty work to do.

I have 3 of the 22/22 mags, and one 32 H&R Mag, they are very good bang for the buck, I use as starter pistols for my kids to do SASS/CAS matches

My brother has the 45 colt with 5.5 barrel. I'm a Ruger man but I was very impressed with fit and finish on this gun. I didn't slug the barrel but the cylinders mic .452 and are pretty even.

I have trouble seeing the factory sight as I do on most guns but it seems to shoot pretty good.
I intend to buy one if I can find one at a price I like.
