Applying gas check before or after

Hello everyone,

Loading up some .309 diam bullets for my 30-06 rifle.
Does everyone apply their gas checks after poly coating their bullets or before ?
I am currently making up a baking board with drilled holes for the non-stick foil and the bullets.

Been covered many many times on here.

Try both. I try both methods for the style of boolit and see which works the best. Then put a note on the mold box as to which method to use in the future. No set rules.



Just do what works best for you and your boolits.

I like "after" because it means only sizing once.

I like "after" because it appears to give better accuracy and cleaner barrel. I've started annealing all GCs and installing after - PC 'fringe' effect on the base - 308W.
