I am gonna have someone with a lathe spin a .458 boolit sizer out of a 7/8 bolt that fits my press, any tips, should it be a long, shallow straight angle, convex, or concave? and will there be any springback to compensate for,for instance if the inside diameter is .458 will the boolit come out .4585 or .459?

There is such a thing as bullet spring back, but for all practical purposes it is insignificant and varies with the alloy. Trying to compensate is like a dog chasing it tail.

should the inside of a bullet sizer be a straight angle or a gentle convex kinda like this |)(| of course not that dramatic lol?

I'm guessing you don't have any push through bullet size dies? If you do just have him fallow that profile as best as he can.

Like the other guys said spring back is a non issue. But I would think the harder the alloy the more chance of spring back. But even then it would be insignificant.
