Is there an authoritative website or book that shows all the different Hollywood presses and their variations? It seems that they made all sorts of interesting machines, many of which are totally different from one another.

I'm really interested in the history and evolution of their machines. No matter how different the design, they all have an elegantly industrial look to them.

Here are shown "most" of the Hollywood Gun Shop press models in their order of production on the top row as far as I can determine. "Single stage tall boy senior's , Progressive's, Metallic Auto's and Auto shotgun senior turrets" are missing from the picture.

Wow! I didn't know there was a Hollywood press museum! That is awesome and wonderful obsession.

Don't know why pics are sideways, could not fix. It is cast iron or steel a magnet will stick to it and it is about 15'' tall did not measure it.

That is a Hollywood Senior, cast iron (or steel) with the swaging rod. I refer to it as the Tallboy, because it is the tallest of the 3 various heights made. It is also the only Senior with a swaging rod.

I have that press, plus the shorter Senior. The handle is missing on your press, so I hope you have it.

Hope this helps.

Is there a holy grail of Holywood presses? A Hollywood press that is the king of them all?

Hollywood Automatic, Shotshell and Metallic or Hollywood Super Turret. The later is just a single stage press.

Nope, it is a piece of junk, which you should immediately sell me. I'll even let you pay the postage. :kidding:

Hey Kevin, It will need to stay put. I had never seen a Hollywood without any lettering on it. Thanks for the offer.
