It wasn't lack of looking, but there just is not alot of cast data out there for the 357 Sig I could find. Handloads.com had some, but not any different than data I already have, which is for accurate powders, #2/5/7/9. Lee just copies existing data. Lyman has no mention of it.

So what else can I use w 147 gr cast in the 357 Sig. I have unique, which seems to work in everything, only data I have is for the XTP. Also have power pistol, universal, 800x, clays, AA#2, AA#9, Silhouette, autocomp, and Solo1000.

I shoot the accurate 35-147S which dropps around 151gr with my alloy. I have been using HS-6 at 1.140" COAL. I just go off of 147gr jacketed data and start at .2 or .3gr under starting load and work my way up. Power Pistol, unique, 800X and AA#9 should work well, I have bunch of power pistol but didn't work any cast loads up with it yet.

most don't try cast and what I found was not worth it .neck is too shot to get any load that feeds and shoots good .

The ones I loaded look fine, the Lee FCD holds em pretty tight. Only problem is they won't chamber. The barrel barely chambers factory stuff. I had rented a reamer to convert a 9mm barrel, but may have been worn to much, as it just did not cut the neck enough.

What barrel you have? I laod for Glocks and they are not tight like some barrels out there but not sloppy neither. I can still get a .358" bullet to fit.

I've had great accuracy from the Lee TL356-124-TC in my Glock 23 over a medium dose of AA7.

It has a Lone Wolf conversion barrel. I think the slower 1/16 twist is more forgiving to that boolit than the 1/10 twist usually found in the 9mm.

I crimp it moderately below the top band.

Its FNS40 there was not much choice in aftermarket barrel. Months back log on a 357 sig chambered one so I got a 9mm and rented a reamer. A sized case goes in fine, but once you put a bullet in things get tight, just to tight in the neck area. Im guessing the reamer was just not up to spec. Hate to buy a new reamer to try and fix it, might look into a standard machinist reamer in the right size to fix the neck section.
