View Full Version : Problem with B-Square Mount on a GP100

Seemed like a perfect solution to have a scope and sights too.

Well under recoil it slides forward until the front B-Square mount screw is stopped by the front sight of the revolver.

I just can't feel warm and fuzzy using a front sight as a stop. If they are much as the ones for DW 715 I really could not be happy using it as a recoil stop.

I wonder if a bead blast finish on the GP100 would roughen it enough to increase friction.

Any Suggestions out there?

Apply a little rubber cement before putting it on?

Suggestions welcomed!

I never found any mount other then a tap and thread works. Weaver, B Square, whatever. B Square always looked big and clunky to me. All of them can cause damage to your gun.
