157770A while back I advised that I had purchased a 4 cavity alum. Accurate mold. Two cavities were #31-130T for my Ruger mini 30 rifle. Two cavities were #36-160G for my Rossi M-92 lever action rifle and also for a clone 1873 Colt Peacemaker in 357 caliber.
I finally found some time from my knife making to cast about 300 boolits with the mold. The 36-160G cavities dropped at .361 which I will size to .358 since the rifle groove dia. is .357. The 31-130T cavities dropped at .314 which I will size at .311 since the groove dia. of the Ruger mini 30 is .310.
Since both rifles have proven to be very accurate with jacketed bullets, I am not worried about having problems with decent accuracy with the cast bullets. I will up date when I get a chance to lube and size the boolits and load up about 20 rounds of each caliber for accuracy testing. I am very pleased with the mold and after I got the casting pot up to 725 degrees and the mold hot, it was dropping perfect boolits and only a few rejects where I open the mold sprue plate too early putting a divot in the base.

Nice looking boolits. I bet you are glad you got the aluminum mold verses iron or brass. The mold would get real heavy otherwise. I'll be curious how that 36-160gr works out. Give us a report

Absolutely incredible mold! And perfect for your target rich environment. Rumor has it, plenty of pigs running the Mts of Northern Cali!
