I received notice that Dillon has shipped my Super Swage 600 to me. I'd like to mount it on a piece of 3/4" plywood that I can attach to my bench as needed with C clamps. Question: What size bolts fit the mounting holes of the 600? I'd like to have my mounting supplies ready when I receive my new toy. Thank you!

Mine is mounted on a piece of oak 4x15 with #12 wood screws.

Mine has been packed away but as stated it was attached with wood screws.

It is counter bored for 1/4 " socket head cap screws two need to be 1.4" OAL plus whatever your mounting it to and washers, nut if your not drilling and tapping. The third would be 5/8" OAL plus mounting length.

OAL not just "grip length".

I would have to look but mine is probably mouinted to a suitable piece of pine with some sheet rock screws. Been that way for ever.

I bolted mine to a short piece of 2x4 and put it in my vise when I want to use it. When its not needed its on the shelf.

In addition to hold-down bolts/screws you might consider this for speed convenience, not needed, but it sure makes things a tad bit easier for a smooth operation.

I used a 2 X 4 and used dry wall screws; a long time ago. Still tight.

Jeez - your making me work tonight

There are 3 holes in mine
the part that goes all the way thru measures 0.260 + 0.020 so say quarter in shank hardware
the top of the hole has been bored larger for the head measures 0.470 + 0.008 in the
two I can get my calipers into the one down in the bottom looks to be the same.

You might want to consider mounting on a larger board so you can add an attachment or two to your unit.

Install the Inline Fabrication alignment units and then add the mod Artful posted a video of and you can't get the Super Swager to run much faster I don't think. I used my hand to do the flip, but I love the spring that young man used. Simple, inexpensive and effective. Doesn't get any better.
