I've got several of 'em but if your asking for a recommendation for a first one.
RCBS/NOE 200 FP

It always seems to shoot good in everything I try it in from 38 spl to 358 wcf

Plus 1 on the RCBS 200 grainer. Top powders for this are 1680, and one of the VV powders (I can't remember which). 2100 fps is do-able. This is pushing .35 Rem. velocities. Read G. Frixell's article on the Max at LASC. He really likes 4227.

Yep, the RCBS 200gr. is a good one, the Ranch Dog 190 and 220 work very well also. Most of the time I use a .351" bullet from BRP, paper patched. It's about 215 gr. They all work very well.

Another plus for the RCBS 200 grain. Also in Jwords the Sierra 200 grain RN loaded to TC max loads of 1600.

I have shot up to 265gr boolits thru my 357max with excellent accuracy. going to try the Lee 358-200 boolit once it warms up a bit here.

I have a NOE 360-180-WFN that shoots well in my H&R maxi.

All I shoot is heavy weights in mine. 250gr and 300 gr. BUT, I load subsonic and use a suppressor to kill menacing tin cans at 50 yards.

Another vote for the RCBS 200 FNGC. It shoots well in my handi rifle, revolver and contender.

I have a 357 Max DW revolver and a TC 10" bull in 357 Max.

I played around with cast for quite a while and was never satisfied.

Then I picked up the new 200 gr RF from Lee. The Lee 200 with PC coating and no gas check is now my best shooing boolit.

I would recommend the NOE 360-180 FP-GC, and the RCBS/NOE/Lee 200 grain FP-GC for cast. For the J Word loads the 180 XTP & Remington 180 grain SJHP would be my #1 choice's for Deer.
The Hornady 180 SSP really needs a little more speed to be at its best per Dave Whites ballistic testing.

I have the NOE 360-180 (5 Cavity) Gas Check mold. It casts some great looking bullets for me, in quantity.
I have been sizing this bullet to .358 for the 357 Maximum Contender project.
I am getting ready to make an order and get a .359 Bullet Sizer to try this bullet in my 35 Bullberry Contender barrel. I can seat the 360-180 bullet just short of the lower crimp groove, and cover up the Grease Groove, while keeping the Gas Check in the case neck on the 35 Bullberry.

The Meplat on the 358-200 RCBS is .210 (59%), the NOE 360-180 has a Meplat of .257 (72%). This was the main reason I went with the NOE 360-180 for a deer bullet. A Meplat between 70% - 74% is in the Sweet Spot between Great Bullet Flight and Hard Hitting. The 360-180 is square in the middle of this range.

I am sure I will end up with the RCBS 200 grain mold also. It is a great looking, well designed bullet too.
