I picked up a rcbs rockchucker supreme for 53 bucks a cableals.

Found it in the return room. It was a display model. Buahha.

I got home and for d out my current bunch is not up to the task. It can't Handel it.

I'm up for ideas for a new bench top.

I want zero movemnt when I use it and my load masters.

Thoughts??

Bolt the back or you bench to the wall and the feet to the floor.

Hard Maple bolted as discussed above helps also.

I mounted (lag bolted) a ledger board to the wall and then bolted the shelf to that. Bench is a double layer of 3/4" ply contact cemented and screwed together. Front legs are mounted to blocks screwed to the underside of the bench. Except for lifting forces it is solid.

A ledger board on the wall as noted....don't negate using a 1-3/4 inch solid core door as the top. Not to expensive, very ridged and less work to install.
