These are shooting Model 1886 45-70 using cast boolits, shooting from a sitting position at 50 yards using cross sticks.
The two good groups are 10.0 grains of Bartlett's #105 powder (wish I had bought more of it when it was available), the larger group is with 4 of both of the different cast boolits and 12.0 grains of the same powder. The light load is about 1000-1100 fps I'm guessing.
Penetration was 15.5 inches in wet clay with 12 grains and about 12 inches with the 10.0 grains.
That rifle was made in 92 by the way.
