Browning BLR and 200 gr bullets

Will the BLR stabilize 200 gr bullets adequately? I'm loading up some test loads with Varget to use when the weather warms up a bit here in the east.

My pre 81 BLR in 308 would have a tough time chambering one with out the gc shank being deep almost to the point that lube and powder are interacting.
