A friend brought over his Taurus Slim 709, 9mm. We tried some of my plinker reloads using the NOE 358-137 FN. The 709 will not feed any of the rounds from the mag into the chamber except the first round. The rounds when dropped into the chamber one at a time fire fine and even show signs of good accuracy. Several factory rounds were also tried they all feed and function properly. I tried some Carrol 127 gr swayed boolits. They did not feed either. We would like to stick with the NOE -137 grainers. Have any of you folks shot this NOE boolit/ Taurus 709 combo? If so did you have feeding issues and how did you fix them? I'm not switching molds as it shoots so well in my pistol, just hoping I can come up with a solution for his.
