any one have some good loads using the Lyman 358318 using IMR 4831,IMR 3031 or IMR 4064? I have this mold and it's little brother ,the 358315 (205).
I'm heading for Maine in November for deer hunting and would really like to find a decent load using cast instead of jacketed. These are pretty much the powders I have on hand.

Neither the same boolit nor the same powder, but 40/4895 or 42/4064 and the 358009 (280 gr) goes together good for about 1900 fps.

j,

Corky nailed it for ya. If I had to pick from those, I'd say 42-44gr/4064 is a good place to try if you are going to use air cooled WW. With 250 grains in weight, accuracy should be @ 2100 fps.
