Help on reamers value

I helped clean out a house and got a bunch of stuff.
Been posting the empty shells in the swap and sell.
I have a box of Chamber reamers that I will never use.
I know just enough about reamers to know I'll never try and use them.
Problem is these things are expensive. I don't want to just give them away.
There are 20 of them.
Description is what I got off of them.
Some looked used, some brand new. I just don't know.
I wanted to sell in one lot, but even at half price, it's $1000.
Don't want to be stuck with any of them.
Any suggestions ??????

The value of each reamer is completely dependent on how many chambers it has reamed and what condition it is in. If a person is reaming only one chamber, a reamer can be rented for $50, so in order to charge more than that, you have to know whether it's been used hard or not.

For instance, when I'm looking at a used reamer for sale, the things I look for is whether the seller is the original owner, and how many chambers he has reamed with it. It costs $75 to sharpen a reamer, and that needs to be done every 12 chambers or so.
The roughing Reamers are something that not all smiths use, and they are not necessary to doing a superb job, unless you plan on reaming a passel of chambers. Since these Reamers all have the corresponding rougher (designated with the R) I can only assume they were used a lot, and therefore, you might consider selling all for one money?
That's all I've got.
You might post them up for auction on swappin and sellin, but I would suggest you couple the roughers with the finishers otherwise you'll sell the finishers and be stuck with the roughers. Very few will give you much for the roughers IMHO, so sell them as sets.
The throaters won't last long here. I'd knock 20% off new price and let them go.

Not too many of them are real popular. I've sold several on Ebay, the popular ones I got 2/3 new price. The dogs, next to nothing. You might have better luck selling them by the piece versus the lot. Most people now rent their reamers, made it a tough market when I went to sell my surplus.

Big haul, but lots of junk.

All of them solid pilot? Getting a grand as a lot will be a very hard sell. To much oddball mixed with very common. $350 to $500 as a lot might be doable. EBay individually may get you close to a grand.
