I should have been more specific with a 116 grain cast bullet!

And I should have been more specific with my post to you, that is a GC sized .258" but that is for my barrel that slugs .257. Lubed with caranuba red and I tumble lube with 60/40 alox johnson's liquid wax. 66/33 pure/lino alloy.

Powder manufactures all have load data sites if intending to use jacketed. Castpix is about the best online web site to check for different powder recipes that use cast.
Have a old Winy long barrel 25-35 which spends more time on the wall then anywhere else. As its said: Collectors value inhibits allot of old long guns from being shot by their owners. Mine included.

Outpost75--"Violent fragmentation, blows frying chicken to smithereens"

Now, why would a person ever want to do that?! Going and ruining perfectly good frying pans, blasting chicken in them. "Fragmentation," well, Duh!--Must not do the stove much good either. Gives new meaning to "shooting range." Do you shoot through a doorway, the window, or do you move the range outdoors?

I can't, for the life of me, figure out why anyone would test loads by shooting pans of fried chicken. Must be one of those new-fangled Utube fads. Well, more power to you, I say. (Sheesh, some people! Probably uses a hand grenade to clean out his Granny's commode.)

--Kidding here, Outpost75. Thanks for the information you gave us.
--I don't know how to add the little faces to show the levity.
