I was just given a Winchester 94 that has been in the family for years. The stock was replace some time ago, and I am sure that the stock that is on it is not the correct stock (It is cut for a medallion). I'd like to find the proper stock to bring it back to original form. From the serial number, I've determined that the gun was manufactured in 1922. It is marked .30 WCF (.30-30). Thanks.

A picture of the rest of the rifle would help determine what it started life as. Saddle ring Carbine? Eastern Carbine? Lots of different configurations of "model 94".

Precision Gun Works (http://www.precisiongunstocks.com/contents/en-us/d17.html) makes several versions of Winchester 94 stocks. And reproduction buttplates to match.

I bought a Boyd's set for my 94AE Trapper. Took some fitting and I had to pay extra to get a set that was unfinished bare wood, but it looks great now finished with 50/50 BLO & turpentine.

Rondog,

did your stock come with a butt plate? I busted mine awhile back and haven't found a replacement in stock yet

Yes, I neglected to mention it is a saddle ring carbine. I have had no luck posting pictures. Might be because I don't have enough posts yet.
