Greetings CH26
Congratulations ! It does the heart good to see the fruit of the work laying on the ground ready to head to the table.
Have a 300 BO also and will give the "tumble powder coat" a whirl next time north. Fun caliber that makes the "plastygun" worth shooting.

Boolet passed through. Went back yesterday to see if i could find it in the ground, all this rain and i couldnt determine the impact area.

Nice shooting! Is that the Lee 155? Not that it was needed here but you can enhance the expansion by filing a flat on the nose.

Congrats. Got my first cast kill in the 2014-15 season. It was a rush. The cast does a number on deer and hogs. I was quite impressed with the results.

I would also like more information on your bullet and loading methods.
I cast a few .312/155 Lee's the other day to play with in my brothers AR 300 BO. So far we have not ordered a Push Through Sizer or a Lube Sizer Die for it. Still pondering what size exactly to size to. We had a larger diameter expander built to test. Our first lead bullet try with the Missouri Bullet Company bullets did not work as well as hoped for.

Mold was the lee 230 gr designed for the blackout. Still working on a reliable load. The shot was 50yds, complete pass through but was subsonic.

230 grain at subsonic speed. Isn't that like shooting them with a 45 acp? At 1050 fps, that is like 563 ft lbs at the muzzle.

Nice going. Looks to be a very nice one and heavier than mine was this year for sure. Yes you are now addicted and its not bad.
