I wanted some light for my presses, so I grabbed a pack of white led's from the Walmart automotive bargain bin. $5.00 for a pair of 6 led self adhesive strips. They run off of 12vdc so I figured I could power them from a small converter.

On the classic turret I was able to cut 1 strip in half and simply stick it to the underside of the top turret mount. Casts good light into the brass so I can check powder. These photos were taken at night with the room lights off.

This is from my vantage point

On my Pro 1000 press I had to get more creative. I found a piece of junk tin in the basement then cut and bent it to hold the light strip over the bullet seat station. There's not a lot of extra space on this press when the shellplate carrier is in the raised position.

I just have the power hooked up temporarily right now. I'll finish that up when I decide where to mount the small converter and switch.

Details about the lights please. Item number, SKU number, photos, etc. I'm interested in something like that for my LCT.

That's pretty slick. With my aging eyes, extra light helps. But I don't want wires adding to my bench clutter, so would prefer battery power.

You guys need to look at inlinefabrication.com. I have their setup on my Hornady LnL. Love it. Cost a little more, but he has thought about everything that needs to be done. Also has other products that makes it easier to use ur press.

I have to agree with XDROB about inlinefabrication. I have several of their products and all are first class.

+ Inline. I have the center light for the Dillon, runs off batteries or plugs in with adapter.

rondog, sorry the packaging went out in the trash. I did some google searching and found these, they look pretty similar to what I bought.

No doubt the Inline Fabrication stuff is top shelf, but I didn't want to spend that much money and I like to build stuff myself.:D
When I finalize the wiring there will be nothing to snag, catch, or clutter. They will route down through the bench top right beside the presses and be secured under the top to the converter, nice and neat.

I just rigged up a little LED flashlight to my press. Check out my Lyman Spartan refurb thread for details.

I added some LED lighting to my Lyman T-Mag turret press as well.

Ordered a Hornady Lock N Load light strip for $14 to $15 bucks.

Can find em easily on Amazon, Midway, Midsouth, etc.

It came with a handy plug in 12 volt power adapter too, so I did not have to run the light strip off a battery. Mounting was simply some provided peel away 2 sided tape. I cleaned the mounting area with alcohol first before applying it.

The LED light strip fit nicely on the frame of my old larger T-mag press. After some trimming to the shrink tubing, it also fits well on my newer style Lyman T-Mag Press.

Was kind of hard to take a picture of the super bright LED's.
The Lights were so bright that I had to rig up a diffuser over the lights,
(I used a piece of paper) or else they're almost overpowering.

I can easily see split cases, and my powder charges on the press now. I no longer have to use a flash light, or an accessory desk lamp while reloading just to see whats going on.
