Unique Powder load needed for 6x45

Title says it all. Want to try Unique with the Loverin 85gr bullet using Unique. Does anyone have any loads for the 6x45.

Not in 6x45, but if looking for a small game load with plainbased bullet, 4.5 grains is standard in the .25-20 Win., and 6 grains in the .25-35, and with your 6x45 being about halfway between these in capacity, and on a strong action about 5 grains of Unique, PB, Herco or BE86 should give you 1300-1400 fps and be quite safe.

Everybody has always said dirty ole Unique is a forgiving easy-to-use universal powder. Do not be afraid of it. Start low and work up from there.

I quit using Unique over 2 years ago and gave away 3# of it. Never did like it due the the dirty performance.

That is what I do on anything I have that there are no published loads for.

Yes, just looking for a small critter load and plinking load for a 6x45 built from a Savage Bolt Action

My wife's 243 loves 11 gr of Unique with the same Loverin boolit
